Dr. Wissam Faour is a distinguished professional, who obtained his Ph.D. in molecular biology from the University of Montreal, Canada. As a founding faculty member of the Gilbert & Rose- Marie Chagoury School of Medicine, he currently serves as the pharmacology discipline coordinator. Dr. Faour's extensive research experience focuses on understanding the role of inflammation in various in vitro and in vivo disease models. His exceptional contributions have earned him international awards, including the prestigious Kidney Research Scientist Core Education and National Training (KRESCENT) fellowship.

Dr. Faour's research is generously supported by grants from LAU research funds and the Lebanese National Council for Scientific Research. Moreover, he holds an Executive MBA from LAU Adnan Kassar School of Business, showcasing his commitment to a holistic approach in advancing medical science.
